Universal Showdown PvP Snapshot

This PvP page is a living snapshot, not a finished meta document. Universal Showdown launched on Roblox on 26 January 2026. The public roster is still incomplete. Official tags confirm Shinji, KJ, Jun, and Cosmic Garou / Cosmic Form. Shinji is the current update branding. Those four facts are enough to draw letters with caveats. They are not enough to invent frame data, health values, or a winrate table.

Read the letters as a map of what the game is putting in front of you, then go fight. If you want a learning order instead of a spotlight order, switch to the beginner ranking. If you want names without letters, stay on the players hub. Compare confirmed names in the character compare tool when you are deciding who to practice tonight.

Snapshot rules

• S means current official branding and the loudest update focus.
• A means official tags keep the name highly visible, especially Cosmic Form language.
• B means the name is confirmed on the game page and still in circulation, but it is not the present title card.
• C means unpublished, rumored, or imported from another Roblox battlegrounds title.
• No letter means we measured your last ten sets. We did not.

Shared inputs still decide most rounds you will actually play. Left click punches. Q dashes, and Q is the evasive / ragdoll cancel while ragdolled. G is Ultimate. F blocks. Double-tap W runs. B opens emotes. Practice those on the combat guide before you argue about a letter.

S — Current update branding

Shinji. Public listings and tags treat Shinji as the current update face. That is why Shinji sits in S on this snapshot. It is a spotlight rank. It is not a claim that Shinji deletes every other confirmed name, and it is not a moveset dump. For the branding story, use the Shinji guide and the Shinji update page. If the experience title drops Shinji tomorrow, this row should move. That is the point of a living list. Do not tattoo S onto the character as if the developers published a balance manifesto.

A — Official Cosmic tags

Cosmic Garou / Cosmic Form. The game page tags both names. Players hunt them, clip them, and argue about them. High visibility earns A on a spotlight axis. It does not earn a fabricated ultimate name, a damage formula, or a promise that Cosmic Form is the strongest kit in an unpublished roster.

Two warnings stay attached to this row. First, do not import a Cosmic Garou kit from The Strongest Battlegrounds. That is a different game. Second, do not make Cosmic Form your first project; the beginner ranking exists because chasing a tagged form before you can dash-cancel a ragdoll wastes evenings. B — Confirmed names, quieter title card

KJ and Jun. Both appear in official tags. Neither is the current Shinji-shaped branding. B means “we can talk about you without guessing the name,” not “you are mid.” KJ search results collide with other KJ battlegrounds titles; keep those kits off this row. Jun is the thinnest public file of the four confirmed names, which is a documentation fact, not a strength fact. Read KJ and Jun before you decide they are interchangeable.

If a future update retitles the experience around KJ or Jun, they can slide up the snapshot the same way Shinji sits in S today. The letter is a pointer, not a personality.

C — Unpublished and imported names

C is the honesty lane. Any fighter you only know from Jump Showdown, The Strongest Battlegrounds, Universal Battlegrounds, a leaked thumbnail, or a comment section sits here until Universal Showdown tags it. Do not promote a C name to S because a YouTube title used the same word. Do not fill C with invented stats to make the list look longer.

Secrets are not automatically C or S. The official prompt is to like the game for a secret character. Badge names on the experience include Stargazer, The Conquered, Fracture of Tundra, and Owner Approved. Gamepasses on the store include Awakening Outfit and Early Access. None of those lines become a PvP letter until the secret is a confirmed, named kit you can discuss the way we discuss Shinji. Use secret characters and the secret character guide.

How to fight under this list

Treat S and A as “people will pick these in public servers because the game keeps saying the names.” Prepare your block and evasive timing for crowded lobbies, not for a spreadsheet. Treat B as “you will still see these tags, and players who learned them early may be more comfortable than someone who only chased the title card.” Treat C as “ask whether that kit is even in this place.”

The next official teaser is “The first sight of something out of this galaxy.” When that update lands, rebuild the snapshot from new tags and new branding. Until then, the four confirmed names plus an unpublished lane are the entire honest board.
